1. Who we are & acceptance

Hisaab is operated by Ankverse Global Consultancy ("we", "us"). By creating an account on Hisaab you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What Hisaab is

Hisaab is a personal and family money tracker. It is not a bank, broker, accountant, or tax advisor. The numbers you see are based solely on what you (or your family) record.

3. Your responsibility

• Keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Enter accurate data. Hisaab does not verify amounts, vendors, or categories.
• Do not upload anything you don't own or have permission to use.

4. AI features

Invoice reading and statement parsing are best-effort. Always review the extracted fields before saving. We are not responsible for errors in AI extraction; you are the final reviewer.

5. Costs

Manual entry is free. AI features may incur costs to the operator of this Hisaab instance; if you self-host or your provider passes those on, you'll be informed separately.

6. Availability

We do our best to keep the service available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, outages, or third-party issues may temporarily affect the app.

7. Termination & data deletion

You can request account deletion at any time from Settings → Data & Privacy. We hold your account for 30 days (during which you can cancel the request), then permanently erase your data. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to break security, or violate these terms.

8. Limitation of liability

Hisaab is provided "as is", without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any financial loss, missed payments, tax penalties, or other consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
